Our research on the perception of home / social isolation during the Covid-19 epidemic has been extended, after stage in Poland, to other countries thanks to the support of our partners abroad!

On the basis of the recent onset of coronavirus outbreak and an unprecedented situation that affects our everyday life, we decided to conduct on-line research on the perception of home / social isolation during the Covid-19 epidemic. The research is coordinated by dr Joanna Stepien from our Department and professor Tomasz Michalski from Department of Regional Development at the University of Gdańsk. Challenges ahead of cities and metropoles

On the 1st of April dr Joanna Stępień together with Tomasz Mikulski and Rafał Gajewski visited high school no. IX in Gdynia Orłowo. It was the second visit of members of our staff in this school. Whilst the first one concerned the topic of who and how shapes the city, the last one aimed to discuss the main challenges ahead of cities and metropoles.

Actions within the COST – ENGAGER project

Participation in the conference that was held in Athens, as well as involvement in the work of the working groups, are actions taken recently by the members of our Team involved in the implementation of the COST Action project entitled ‘European Energy Poverty: Agenda Co-Creation and Knowledge Innovation (ENGAGER)’.
